Located next to Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, LWDA designed the converion of the three story 15 Green Street building from a nursing home into an office and meeting space building. This enablied the the hospital to relocate administrative and training to the building, allowing for more expansion within its main building. The design worked with the existing structure and rebuilt the interior to create offices on the upper floors and modern traning meeting rooms on the first floor. Existing brick on the exterior was left in place with insullation being carefully added to the energy code requirements. New linear windows decorate the exterior openings, and masonry was repaired.
